GUEST: Jakora En Nyasaye that is (meaning God is my partner).

GUEST: way back in 1999 after I gave my life to Christ.

GUEST: of course yes. It is no secret to that.

GUEST: yes, but I wasn’t due to circumstances.

GUEST: Education without information is useless, what happened to me is that I was exposed into reading so early. I remember my father giving me an King James English bible towards the end of my first year in primary school to read and I read it accurately something that my step sister who was in STD 5 couldn’t though that didn’t go down well with everyone. After the death of my father I met other friends while living in Mombasa who introduced me into a lifestyle of reading the dailies. So reading became part of my life and I must also mention that that was also the time when I got into drugs due to some friends I had in school.
TOPSHOPMEDIA.COM: tell us, what is your suggestion on our education system? Is it flawed? Why is it that we have form four leavers who cannot write just a simple composition?
GUEST: the question is what discourages a mental stable human being from performing well just as his/her peers? We all need to be inspired by something, motivated towards a goal and moralized in order to perform. Any thing less or more is extraordinary and or divine or forced. My achievement in music was geared by inspiration and motivation. I was motivated and inspired. All my emotional and physical reactions were focused into achieving one goal and that was to write music that can refresh ones soul. Since I learned of the dirt in an organization I trusted so much with my music I have only manage to write 2 songs in 3 years (just hold on and Shine) and that was way back in 2008 when circumstances favored and I forgot of the mistreatment I got from the people in that organization compared to 50 songs I wrote in 2004 alone the year before I did record my first album (mounting high).
